Program Spotlight-Seymour FFA
What is FFA?
FFA is an intra-curricular program connected to Agricultural Education. It follows a three-circle model that includes classroom and lab experiences, leadership through FFA, and Supervised Agricultural Experiences where students apply what they learn in real-world settings.
What makes Seymour FFA stand out?
Our chapter continues to grow in membership, involvement, and leadership. Students are taking initiative in activities, service projects, and leadership opportunities that strengthen connections between our school and community.
How do students serve the community?
FFA members regularly give back through local service projects. This year students helped pack 11,712 meals during the Hunger Stops Here event, painted community buildings for use during Apple Festival, and helped park cars during the Let Freedom Ring summer event.
What opportunities do students gain?
Members have the chance to travel, compete, volunteer, and network with agricultural leaders from across the state and nation. These experiences help students build leadership skills, confidence, and career readiness.
