High School & Middle School Cheer Coach / Sponsor
Seymour School District | 2026–2027 School Year

The Seymour School District is seeking enthusiastic, qualified individuals to lead our Cheerleading programs for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. We currently have openings for both High School Cheer Coach and Middle School Cheer Coach positions.

Additionally, the district is highly interested in hiring Assistant Coaches for these programs, if possible.

Compensation & Stipends
High School Cheer Coach: 10% salary stipend (includes coaching for at least one cheer competition)

Middle School Cheer Coach: 6% salary stipend

Key Responsibilities & Expectations
Game Coverage: Attend and oversee all home game performances, district tournament competitions, and select away games.

Team Development: Foster a positive, energetic, and safe environment that promotes school spirit, teamwork, and athletic growth.

Competition Prep (High School): Prepare and lead the squad through at least one competitive cheer event during the season if applicable.

Special Ed Resource Teacher: Secondary position:

The Seymour R-II School District is seeking a dedicated Secondary Special Education Resource Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to provide specialized instruction in English Language Arts and Mathematics for students with disabilities in grades 8–12. We are a four-day school district that values meaningful relationships, strong collaboration, and a supportive school community. We believe students thrive when educators build trust, maintain high expectations, and work closely with families. This position includes instructional and case management responsibilities and ensures services are delivered in compliance with state and federal regulations. Caseload and instructional schedule will be determined annually based on student needs and district programming. Qualifications include a valid Missouri Special Education certification appropriate for secondary students, knowledge of IDEA and special education compliance requirements, and strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
